KelvinGrove Art Gallery and Museum
This museum underwent a 3 year transformation and the number one attraction in Glasgow and is one of Scotland's overall top attractions. The museum has 22 galleries, housing a range of exhibits, including Renaissance art, taxidermy and artifacts from ancient Egypt. And it is completely free, great for students on a budget! glasgow City Centre
Glasgow's city centre is a beautiful 19th century style city that lies north of the Famous River Clyde. It offers great shopping experience, has numerous restaurants and cafes and offers major cultural offerings such as the Modern Gallery of Art and a city mural trail(depicted on the right).
glasgow botanic gardens
The Glasgow Botanic Gardens attraction is located in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland. It features several glasshouses, the most famous being the Kibble Palace. The Garden has a wide variety of temperate and tropical flora, a herb garden, the UK's national collection of tree ferns and a world rose garden. It is open everyday from 10AM-7PM.
GLASGOW CATHEDRAL
Glasgow Cathedral is the oldest cathedrals in mainland Scotland and the oldest building in Glasgow. Construction began in the latter part of the 12th century, after Glasgow was created as a town of barony in 1180. . Glasgow Cathedral is one of two medieval cathedrals in Scotland to have survived the Reformation virtually intact. For more information on visitation and services please visit their website here.
the lighthouse
The Lighthouse in Glasgow is Scotland's Centre for Design and Architecture. It was designed in 1895 and was originally a warehouse at the back of a printing office of the Glasgow Herald but was renovated to become the lighthouse in the twenty-first century.

POLLOK COUNTRY House and PARK
The Pollok House was built in 1752 and boasts a large collection of Spanish paintings ,as well as works by Raeburn and Guthrie. It also contains an impressive display of silverware, porcelain and antique furniture. The Pollock house features Pollok Country park, a 146 hectare park named the best park in Europe in 2008 and was even used for filming scenes in the famous show 'Outlander'. Pollock Country park is open 24 hours and is free to enter, however for the Pollok House costs £8.50 to enter.
CLYDESIDE DISTILLERY
The Clydeside Distillery is Glasgow's first dedicated single malt Scotch Whiskey Distillery in over 100 years. They offer a variety of tours and you can find out more information on what they offer on their website here.
river clyde
The River Clyde is the third longest river in Scotland and runs through the city of Glasgow. It a must see attractions with beautiful views of the famous Clyde Arc and Finnieston Crane. Take a scenic walk along the pathways, or hop on a river cruise on the Clyde and not to far away you can visit the OVO Hydro, the largest entertainment venue in Scotland.
